One piece of advice you might receive in the pro shop is to avoid the Scottish style stacked-sod bunkers, inspired by the great links courses of golfing’s past.

Ours is a public course that has the gracious service and well-maintained fairways that you’ll experience at the finest private clubs. And we hold the distinction of being Virginia’s only Gary Player Signature Design.  

Our 7,191-yard, par-72 layout rambles through what was called “Raspberry Plain,” which during the 18th century was one of the most fertile plantations in all Virginia. Several sets of tee boxes make the course a treat for golfers of all skill levels.
